Awards
Awards are a wonderful way to celebrate the achievements of members and recognised volunteers in your team.
You can use an award to recognise great work, outstanding and excellent guiding and long service
Formal awards are just one way to say thanks. Get more ideas for thanking your volunteers and recognising what they do.

Thanks Badge
Given to members and non-members of Girlguiding as a sign of appreciation for their support.
Any member may present a Thanks badge after discussion with a leader or commissioner.

Good Service Badge
This brooch can be awarded by the Chief Guide, a Chief Commissioner or County Commissioner for good service to guiding.

Long Service Award
This brooch can be awarded by the Chief Guide, a Chief Commissioner or County Commissioner for good service to guiding.

Anglia Brooch
The Anglia Brooch is awarded for commitment and level of service above 'the call of duty', notable display of courage, bravery or initiative.

Anglia Youth Award
For members under the age of 18 who have shown notable commitment or participation, made a notable difference to others, have empowered or influenced or demonstrated championing of the rights of young women.

Buddy and Unit Buddy
This recognises young women in guiding who act as buddies, supporting their peers with additional needs within units, at events or on camps and holidays.

Guiding Star
An award for any member up to her 26th birthday, who has displayed exceptional courage or who has shown great initiative or responsibility during an incident.

Laurel Award
The Laurel Award celebrates exceptional service. It is awarded to active members of Girlguiding who have made an outstanding contribution to guiding.

Silver Fish
The Silver Fish award recognises active members who have made an exceptional contribution across the breadth of Girlguiding.
